PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation method of heavy floor impact sound cutoff performance, capable of evaluating the heavy floor impact sound cutoff performance by a simple mathematical expression, with an already known valUe as a parameter, in a design initial stage such as a plane dimension and a thickness dimension of a floor slab.SOLUTION: Evaluating floor slab inner average heavy floor impact sound cutoff performance (HA-L) using as an evaluation quantity a maximum A characteristic floor impact sound level using a rubber ball as an impact source, is evaluated by using a floor slab thickness t (m) and a primary natural frequency f(Hz) of the floor slab, where a=0.91-1.01, and x=13±2.
