PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect relationship between objects accurately and comprehensively at low cost.SOLUTION: A learning object extraction unit 101 of a relationship detection system 100 extracts a sentence that includes both of object names of two objects having prescribed relationship as a learning object sentence from a learning-use document that includes a sentence representing prescribed relationship between objects. A discrimination model generation unit 103 generates a discrimination model for classifying into a sentence representing prescribed relationship and other sentences on the basis of a set of sentences in which each of object names having prescribed relationship that are included in the learning object sentence is replaced with a corresponding label among labels representing one and the other in the prescribed relationship. A discrimination object sentence extraction unit 105 extracts, from a discrimination-use document, a sentence that includes at least one of object names of two objects for which prescribed relationship is to be discriminated, as a discrimination object sentence. A discrimination unit 106 determines using the discrimination model whether or not the sentence in which each of object names of objects included in the discrimination object sentence for which prescribed relationship is to be discriminated was replaced with a corresponding label is a sentence that represents prescribed relationship.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
