PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical score display device capable of presenting a player with easily distinguishable code information without preventing the player from reading a predetermined part in the score, when the player plays the predetermined part by reading musical notes and plays other parts on the basis of the code information.SOLUTION: In a musical score display device, when a player selects one musical score data from a plurality of pieces of musical score data, image data for displaying the musical score is created and displayed on a touch panel (a). Then, code information (including code names and note lengths) contained in the musical score data is extracted; each code name in the extracted code information is associated with different colors; and the display of the musical score on the touch panel is controlled so that a partial region of the musical score in the vicinity of a position at which each code name is displayed is colored with the associated color. (b) shows an example of the musical score to which the display control is executed. Here, the partial regions 201 to 204 in the upper stage among three stages in the musical score are colored with the colors associated with each code.
