Disclosed are an intelligent community recommendation method and apparatus, which relate to the technical field of computers. The method comprises: receiving an input target workplace position; obtaining an optional residential community corresponding to the target workplace position according to the residential community data corresponding to each workplace position pre-extracted according to location data of a location based service (LBS); and outputting information about the optional residential community. The present invention optimizes the existing house resource information inquiry technology, helps a user to rapidly select a residential community conforming to the user expectation, and reduces real off-line search time.
