PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for transporting sedimentary sand capable of efficiently transporting the sedimentary sand.SOLUTION: An apparatus for transporting sedimentary sand comprises: a solid and liquid recovery tank 2; a suction transport pipe 4 whose one end is connected to the solid and liquid recovery tank 2 and another end part is submerged in water at a sand basin 5; a vacuum device 1 to decompress the inside of the solid and liquid recovery tank 2 and the suction transport pipe 4; an atmospheric air release pipe 11 connected to the suction transport pipe 4; an atmospheric air release valve 10 to release atmospheric air in the suction transport pipe 4; an air injection pipe 21 connected to the suction transport pipe 4; a compressed air transfer device 22 to feed compressed air into the suction transport pipe 4 through the air injection pipe 21; a sand pump 16 to suck a solid and liquid mixed body in the solid and liquid recovery tank 2; and a sedimentary sand receiver 17 to receive the solid and liquid mixed body sucked by the sand pump 16.
