PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apex pasting device and an apex pasting method in which when forming a bead, occurrence of jam of an apex is suppressed thereby fully suppressing generation of a production loss, and increase of equipment cost and maintenance cost can be fully suppressed with a simple structure.SOLUTION: An apex pasting device comprises a presser roller unit which has presser rollers of upper and lower stages for passing through an apex while curving the apex in a sigmoid shape and presses the apex against a bead ring, elevation means for elevating the presser roller units, and a cutter part for cutting a tail end of the apex. Furthermore, an apex pasting method comprises a cueing process, a pressing process, a tail end cutting process and a joint process.
