PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acrylic composite fiber having an antimicrobial deodorizing effect for preventing growth of microbes and inhibiting odor resulted from degradation of sweat or dirt, and an odor eliminating effect against acetic acid, isovaleric acid, nonenal and ammonia, causing odor from sweat and aging of a human body, and to provide a woven or knitted fabric containing the same.SOLUTION: There is provided an acrylic composite fiber consisting of an acrylonitrile polymer of 60 to 90 mass%, cellulose acetate of 9 to 39 mass%, deodorant fine particles of 0.5 to 2.5 mass%, an antimicrobial agent of 0.05 to 2.0 mass%, in which a continuous phase has the acrylonitrile polymer and a dispersion phase has fiber structure.
