PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piping construction management information collecting system that facilitates pipe connection work without requiring a worker to enter a groove and can accurately collect construction management information without requiring the worker to execute actual measurement.SOLUTION: A piping construction management information collection system comprises: a pipe joint connecting device 1 that includes a connection processing part for drawing a spigot to a socket of a socket-side pipe by clamping a spigot-side pipe, includes an elevation mechanism for moving the connection processing part down to a connection position of a pipe arranged at a floor portion of an excavated groove and automatically acquires construction management information; a first imaging device C1 that is attached to the pipe joint connecting device 1 and reads the construction management information; a GPS receiver R that acquires position information of a pipe connection part to be connected by the pipe joint connecting device 1; and a communication device 70 that transmits the construction management information acquired by the pipe joint connecting device 1, the construction management information acquired by the first imaging device C1 and the position information acquired by the GPS receiver R to a construction management information server 80.
