PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support device for an overhead distribution line or the like in wiring work, in which the overhead distribution line or the like is extremely easily, promptly, and surely fixed and supported even within a bucket of a high-place work vehicle or the like, and proximate work such as direct disconnection/connection can be performed alone, and a working method.;SOLUTION: The support device comprises: a substrate 1 that can be freely mounted on a working position; a support 9 with fixture means pivoted to the substrate 1 so as to be freely tilted via an eccentric shaft 10; a clamp 18 with fixture means disposed on the support 9 in a freely rotatable manner; and a nipping tool 23 which can be freely nipped to the clamp 18. The substrate 1 is mounted on the working position in a standing state, the nipping tool 23 is nipped to the clamp 18, and the clamp 18 and the support 9 are fixed and supported by the fixture means while appropriately rotating/tilting them to adjust an angle in a proper direction. Distribution work can be performed alone with required tools while nipping the nipping tool 23 to an overhead distribution line 37 or the like.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
