PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device of a can body capable of inspecting surely a defect of a pinhole or the like, and to provide a can body support medium used for the inspection device of the can body, and a production method of the can body support medium.SOLUTION: A can body support medium 2 (star wheel 21) for supporting a can body 1 when irradiating inspection light from the lateral side to the outer surface of the can body 1 and detecting the inspection light leaking to the inside from the outer surface of the can body 1 is formed tabularly of a light transmissive material, and is provided inside with an irregular reflection part 23 for scattering the inspection light. The irregular reflection part is formed planarly along the thickness direction from an aggregate of fine air bubbles formed by laser processing.
