Processing voices of people during a VoIP call to externally localize in empty space

A method executed by electronic devices that provide voices of two people in a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) call as binaural sound. The electronic devices process the voices with head-related transfer functions (HRTFs) so the voices externally localize to the two people at least one meter away in empty space where no physical object exists.
