DEVICE FOR OBJECTIVE EXAMINATION OF MASTICATORY FUNCTION IN CLINICAL CONDITIONS

The device for objective examination of the massticatory function in clinical conditions is intended for the wide practice of dentistry in order to accurately assess the condition of the masticatory function both in the diagnosis process and after the conducted dental treatment. The construction consists of a container in which is placed a collecting container with a base sieve surface, equipped with ergonomic handles, for individual use of each of the two parts. The sieve surface has a diameter of clear opening 1.5 mm in diameter, with 44.5 clear openings of each square centimeter. The device for the objective examination of the masticatory function in clinical conditions is used in running water to determine the amount of chewed mass that is passing through. The container facilitates the measurement of the liquid when required.
