A method is designed to control the backflow control valve of such an hvac module by the steps of reading pressure and temperatures at various points in the hvac module; set air flow and temperature discharge targets; calculate the resistance of the control valve and a union valve; determine corresponding positions of the control valve and the union valve; and move the control valve and union valve to these corresponding positions.
