The soul of a welding electrode of soul metal is formulated with a specific composition rich in CR / Ni or a composition rich in CR / Mn. The welds produced when the probe is used for welding of high tensile strength steels exhibit fatigue strength enough not to be necessary TTPS or other procedures of treatment after welding thereafter.
