The method of intensive cultivation of plants in a production unit, where the production unit connects to an integral biotechnological reactor for wastewater treatment, with the synergistic use of carbon dioxide produced during biotechnological decomposition of pollutants, and at the same time it uses oxygen released by photosynthesis of plants, which is blown out of the inner greenhouse, where the production unit is located, as compressed air with a higher oxygen content, into the aeration space of the reactor, thereby increasing the biological activity of the microorganisms involved in the biological treatment of waste water.
