APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ANSWERING MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTIONS AND EVALUATING ANSWERS BY USING RFID TAGS

The subject matter of this invention is providing an alternative means for capturing answers from a multiple choice test by using RFID technology. The invention involves use of answer cards with choice terminals and resistance network as per the invention (Indian Patent Application No. 2567/CHE/2015 dated 22nd May 2015 by the current inventors) and an RFID chip. The RFID chip is used to measure the resistance between terminals of the resistance network and send the number of correct answers and the ID of answer card to an RFID reader which in turn sends the information to a computer for further processing. As multiple answer cards can be read concurrently by using the current state of the art RFID technology, faster processing and evaluation of multiple answer cards can be achieved.
