IOT BASED HOME SECURITY amp; AUTOMATION USING RASPBERRY-PI

In this innovation represents a design and implementation of an automation system for buildings in order w moniior the environment, control the electric appliance and communicates with the outer world. This innovation deals with the major areas as collection, transmission, storage, processing and display of information. It includes centralized control of lighting, controlling electrical appliances, and other systems. This automation system has been developed to automatically achieve some activities performed frequently in daily life to obtain more comfortable and easier life environment. The system is based on the Raspberry Pi which runs with Linux DEBIAN OS and can act as a security guard of the buildings which can monitor the temperature, lighting, motion detectors, fire, gas density, windows & doors of the different sectors in a particular building to guarantees the security. The system also has internet connection to monitor and control the various electrical equipments in the building from anywhere in the world. The user can easily control and monitor the system through a webpage wit;h the login username and password. As the system can be accessed through the webpage the user can use a web browser in any one of the mobile platform which is available today.
