Design and Development of Hardware Testing Interface via Custom Script Language

摘要

ABSTRACT Target based testing was one of the important task, in project development lifecycle. We propose to test embedded system on actual environment where system is to be developed. To do so we propose use of scripting language to re-program each time according to target system. A script, in simple words is a written set of instructions, in a certain known and recognized format, and consistent with the standard set of rules for the language in which the script is written. We propose and develop such a script programmable ability for autonomous device, which was used to test logics on another devisees port. Our main aim was to develop a custom easy to understand scripting language that can be used for testing of autonomous machines or devices used in industries, household devices etc. automating helps to efficiently perform testing, also helps to check output logics of devices. Device could be scripted according to target device and interfacing. Based on script it will test and gives result on system. Following invention is described in detail with the help of Figure 1 of sheet 1 showing system block diagram and Figure 2 of sheet 1 showing the proposed system model.
