INNOVATIVE TOLL PLAZA TO BOOST EFFICIENCY OF TRAFFIC BY REDUCING WAITING PERIOD, WASTAGE OF FUEL AND POLLUTION.

ABSTRACT: Multistoried innovative toll plaza comprising additional to existing toll booths at ground level installed overhead or underground or in both. It increases number of toll booths. For this purpose at toll plaza zone the overhead path for upper toll booths and underground subways / tunnels for lower toll booths will be suitably designed. Introduction of multistoried toll plaza will provide benefits of, no traffic jam at toll plaza, effectively smooth traffic, elimination of major waiting time at toll plaza, no wastage of fuel, reduces pollution level. This arrangement will boost the efficiency of toll plaza, hence more vehicles will be on the road which will result in increased revenue. A separate lane for ambulance can be provided.
