SUPRAMOLECULAR STRUCTURES WITH OPTIMIZED OPTICAL PROPERTIES CONSTITUTED BY A SILVER COLLOIDAL PARTICLE COATED BY PHYTOCHEMICALS THAT BIND TO SILVER NANOPARTICLES, METHOD FOR OBTAINING SAME AND USES THEREOF.
The present invention provides a novel product consisting of a colloidal silver nanoparticle of between 70nm to 120nm diameter coated by aqueous extract phytochemicals of Illicium verum seed which forms an organic matrix wherein silver nanoparticles of between 1nm to 10nm diameter are attached. The invention also provides a sustainable process for obtaining these supramolecular structures using a star anise seed extract as a reducing and stabilizing agent without any additional additives. Furthermore, it provides their use in applications such as photonic, medical and molecular compound.
