The invention discloses a drive and control method for bionic fish. The method comprises the following steps of: 1) arranging a sealed fish body, and a fish tail swinging relative to the body; 2) respectively arranging a magnetic stone at the positions of the two sides of the body corresponding to coils, and generating the suctioning force and the pushing force from the two sides when the coils are charged; and 3) supplying power to the coils, controlling the swinging of the fish tail by controlling the current direction and the switching-on and switching-off time duration of power supplying so as to realize the purpose of going forwards or making a turn. The invention also provides the bionic fish adopting the method. The bionic fish comprises a fish body component and a fish tail component which can swing oppositely, wherein the body component 1 is internally provided with a driving control circuit and comprises a left side shell and a right side shell which are respectively provided with a magnetic stone, and the polarities of the opposite surfaces of two magnetic stones are same; and the changing magnetic field and the mutual action of the magnetic stones push the tail part to generate the swinging action, and further push the whole body to go forwards.
