A device for influencing the flow between a coal gasificationreactor and a gas cooler/purifier is disclosed.The device includes a Venturi constriction in the flow path ofthe gas in the pipe, as well as a flow cone positioned on apush rod that is disposed centrally.A connecting rod system that is guided to the outside isprovided to move the push rod.The connecting rod system that moves the push rod is formed bya connecting rod arm guided in a dummy connector and aconnecting rod arm guided out of the dummy connector by way ofa packed gland.
