A medicine maintenance method based on a network hospital platform. The method comprises: monitoring storage time of medicines in a medicine storehouse within a monitoring period (S10); when the storage time of the medicines reaches a corresponding maintenance prompting period, generating a prompting message, and determining maintenance rules corresponding to the medicines (S20); and outputting the prompting message and the maintenance rules to allow a user to implement medicine maintenance according to the maintenance rule (S30). Also disclosed is a network hospital platform. In the medicine maintenance method based on a network hospital platform and the network hospital platform, by monitoring the storage time, a user is reminded when the storage time reaches the maintenance prompting period, and accordingly regular maintenance of the medicines in the medicine storehouse is ensured, and the problems of deterioration, invalidity and the like of the medicines due to untimely maintenance are avoided; in addition, the workload of medical care personnel is mitigated, and the work efficiency is improved to a great extent.
