The present invention relates to a magnetic resonance imaging system using magnetic resonance electrical impedance tomography, and the magnetic resonance imaging system, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a current generation control device for controlling so that a current is applied to an object to be measured for specific duration of time within an arbitrary repeat time; a converter for performing analog-digital conversion of data obtained by RF pulses, gradient pulses, and the current applied to the object to be measured at every repeat time, according to a sequence for a reversed double echo steady-state free precession; and an image obtaining unit for generating an image of conductivity distribution of the object to be measured using output data from the converter, wherein the current generation control device applies an alternating current between a steady-state free precession echo (SSFP-ECHO) image signal and a steady-state free precession free induction decay (SSFP-FID) image signal within each repeat time of a reversed double echo steady-state pulse sequence.
