A wireless communication-based staff management system for hydropower generation comprises a master machine (1), several communication transfer stations (3) and several communication slave machines (4). Each of the communication transfer stations (3) is electrically connected to the master machine (1) with a communication wire (2), and each of the communication slave machines (4) is wirelessly connected to the communication transfer stations (3). The communication slave machine (4) comprises a housing, a display interface (5) disposed on the housing, a control button (6), a voice module (7) and an RFID electronic tag (8), and the housing is provided with a central control device therein. The wireless communication-based staff management system for hydropower generation realizes real-time monitoring of staff via real-time communication between the master machine, respective communication transfer stations and respective communication slave machines. In addition, the communication slave machine has multiple functions to enhance the practicability of the system, and further, nRF9E5 is employed in a radio frequency control circuit therein to reduce power consumption, a volume and also manufacturing costs of the communication slave machine, thus improving the practicability and reliability of the communication slave machine.
