The present invention is applicable in a terminal device integrated on a personal item carried by a chronic disease patient. Disclosed are a human body feature data-based diet control system and method for the chronic disease patient. The method comprises the steps of: acquiring body feature information of a patient from a body feature database of a cloud health service platform via a communication unit to determine a patient type; capturing an image of a food item being consumed by the patient via a camera unit and identifying food feature data; matching food ingredients from a recipe database of the cloud health service platform on the basis of the food feature data; determining whether or not the food item being consumed by the patient is a prohibited food item on the basis of the patient type and the food ingredients; insofar as the food item being consumed by the patient is a prohibited food item, projecting an image for reducing the appetite of the chronic disease patient onto the surface of the current food item via a projecting unit to undermine the appetite of the patient of consuming the prohibited food item. The present invention is capable of automatically identifying prohibited food items for the patient when the chronic disease patient is eating and automatically controlling and prohibiting the patient from consuming any prohibited food item.
