The invention relates to the field of lossless measurements, and in particular, to a space-variable interdigital adjacent capacitive sensor (8) adopted to measure dielectric performance of a thickened polymer material. The sensor mainly comprises: an excitation electrode (1), a sensing electrode (2), a substrate (3), a masking layer (4) and a lead connector (5). Both the excitation electrode (1) and the sensing electrode (2) contain a plurality of interdigital units having a width and a spacing interval independently optimized according to a variation of a structure to be measured. That is, the width of the electrodes is maximized, provided that a penetration depth is ensured, so as to obtain a maximal signal strength and measurement sensitivity. In comparison to a conventional equal-space interdigital adjacent capacitive sensor, the space-variable interdigital adjacent capacitive sensor (8) has an increased effective electrode area, increasing the signal strength and measurement sensitivity.
