Provided is an evaporative condenser that efficiently condenses and liquefies a gaseous refrigerant that is sequentially fed after circulating through a condensation cooling cycle. Further provided is a refrigeration system that is equipped with the evaporative condenser. An evaporative condenser (100) is equipped with: a refrigerant cooling unit (120) that cools and condenses a refrigerant (R) that is sequentially fed after circulating through a condensation cooling cycle (Sc); a water spraying unit (130) that cools the refrigerant cooling unit (120) by spraying a cooling water (CW) on the refrigerant cooling unit (120); a casing (110) that has an air suction port (112) for sucking in air that evaporates the cooling water (CW) sprayed from the water spraying unit (130), and an air exhaust port (114) for discharging air; and a fan (140) that generates an airflow inside the casing (110) from the air suction port (112) to the air exhaust port (114). The refrigerant cooling unit (120) has an inclined refrigerant cooling tube (126), at least a portion of which is disposed so as to be inclined relative to the horizontal direction, and in which the refrigerant (R) is cooled while flowing in and downward.
