The present invention relates to the field of Internet. Provided is a weather-based music downloading method and downloading system. The method comprises: recording tags of weather corresponding to music and a list of downloaded music; detecting a weather condition of the next day; and automatically downloading, when a user is in a WiFi connection status, music that matches a tag of the weather condition of the next day and that is not in the list of downloaded music. According to the invention, by means of matching with tags of weather corresponding to music, music is automatically downloaded according to the weather condition of the next day when a user is in a WiFi connection state, thereby simplifying operations of actively downloading music by a user, and songs are adjusted according to weather changes, so that the user can listen to different music every day, making music downloading more humanized.
