CASUALTY RESCUE SYSTEM AND METHOD BASED ON DIGITAL HELMET

A casualty rescue system (10) and method based on a digital helmet (1). The method comprises the steps of: using a pulse sensor (11) for detecting and counting a pulse of a carotid artery of a casualty (S40); if the number of pulses of the carotid artery of the casualty is higher than a preset number, then assigning a level 1 emergency rescue priority to the casualty (S42); using a breathing sensor (12) for detecting and counting the number of breaths per minute of the casualty (S43); if the number of pulses and number of breaths of the casualty are both zero, then assigning a level 4 emergency rescue priority to the casualty (S45); if the casualty is able to walk upright, then assigning a level 3 emergency rescue priority to the casualty (S49); if the casualty is able to follow a spoken instruction to close their eyes given by a speaker device (16), then assigning a level 2 emergency rescue priority to the casualty (S53); and sending, by using a communication unit (15), the emergency rescue priority level to a rear emergency rescue command center (S54). The method can achieve real-time monitoring and automatic assessment of a state of injury sustained by a casualty and assign an emergency rescue priority level to the casualty.
