A micro-leakage monitoring device for a water pipe (500), and micro-leakage monitoring method for same. An impeller (100) and a solenoid valve (200) are provided in a pipe, and a check valve (400) having narrow holes (401) are provided at an end of the impeller (100) near a water inlet (501). A controller (300) controlling opening or closing of the solenoid valve (200) is provided outside of the pipe, a sensor sensing a rotation state of the impeller is provided on the impeller (100), and the sensor and the solenoid valve (200) are connected to the controller (300). By combing the check valve (400) with the narrow holes to increase the flow speed of a water flow generated by micro-leakage or dripping, and combining the impeller (100) and the sensor to achieve micro-leakage monitoring, the present invention effectively prevents erroneous determination due to temporary water flow motion caused by vibration or specific reasons, thus improving accuracy of determination. In addition, the present invention has advantages of a simple structure, a low cost, and wide applicability.
