Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for transmitting a dynamic document, and an electronic device. The method comprises: obtaining a first operation instruction which is used for instructing to create a dynamic document I and instructing to transmit the created dynamic document I to a receive end; creating the dynamic document I according to the first operation instruction and updating content of the dynamic document I in real time; fragmenting the dynamic document I in real time to obtain multiple fragmented documents; encoding the obtained fragmented documents by using a fountain code; transmitting, to the receive end, documents obtained after the obtained fragmented documents are encoded by using the fountain code. According to the technical solution provided by embodiments of the present invention, by fragmenting a dynamic document to obtain fragmented documents, encoding the obtained fragmented documents by using a fountain code, and transmitting, to a receive end, documents obtained after the obtained fragmented documents are encoded by using the fountain code, the transmission time for the dynamic document is shortened.
