The present invention relates to an on-line remote diagnosis system for a DC bus capacitor of a power converter by using Zigbee communication, which is capable of processing, in real time, a specific switching frequency in each of various kinds of power converters by using a simple scheme that estimates an ESR from AC power loss of a capacitor after performing a signal process of pulsating voltage and current components through AC coupling. The on-line remote diagnosis system which is provided to a power conversion system includes: a DC bus capacitor error detection device configured to estimate an ESR based on a power loss of a DC bus capacitor provided to the power conversion system and output the result value; and an ESR monitoring and analysis device configured to analyze and monitor a state of the DC bus capacitor based on the estimated ESR value from the DC bus capacitor error detection device and output an error alarm message to the outside when an error occurs in the DC bus capacitor as the analysis result. Thus, it is possible to implement on-line remote diagnosis system by using a simple scheme that estimates an ESR from AC power loss of a capacitor after performing a signal process of pulsating voltage and current components through AC coupling.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
