The present invention relates to a method for verifying human saliva using a human saliva-specific glycan. As a result of mass spectrometry by separating and refining an N-glycan with respect to human body fluid including human saliva and rat saliva, the human saliva has a feature distinguished from the saliva of another animal as the human saliva contains more than or equal to 50% of highly fucosylated N-glycan including four or more fucoses, thereby the human saliva can be used to medico-legal fields or the like.
