According to the present invention, a system for managing congratulations and condolences comprises: a housing; an envelope transfer mechanism; a printer; a scanner; and a terminal. The housing has an envelope input portion receiving an empty congratulations and condolences envelope from which expenditure for congratulations and condolences such as bills or checks are led out, and an envelope loading portion loading the empty congratulations and condolences envelope transferred from the envelope input portion. The envelope transfer mechanism transfers the empty congratulations and condolences envelope input to the envelope input portion to the envelope loading portion. The printer prints the amount of expenditure for congratulations and condolences led out from a congratulations and condolences envelope on the congratulations and condolences envelope. The scanner scans both surfaces of the congratulations and condolences envelope via the printer to obtain image information. The terminal controls the envelope transfer mechanism to transfer the congratulations and condolences envelope from the envelope input portion to the envelope loading portion, controls the printer to print the received amount of expenditure for congratulations and condolences on the congratulations and condolences envelope, and controls the scanner to scan both surfaces of the congratulations and condolences envelope to obtain the image information.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
