Disclosed are a method to unwrap a phase in a magnetic resonance image device, and a magnetic resonance image device using the same. The disclosed device includes: an image obtaining part obtaining magnetic resonance images about a plurality of echo times; a size information extracting part separating and extracting size information of each pixel from the obtained magnetic resonance images; a noise removing part removing a noise from the extracted size information; and an unwrapped phase obtaining part modeling an unwrapped phase to make the phase linearly proportional to the echo times, calculating a deductive value by deducting the modeled unwrapped phase from the size made by removing the noise from the magnetic resonance images obtained for each echo time, and obtaining an initial phase and an angular speed of the modeled unwrapped phase to minimize a value made by adding up the deductive value on every echo image. According to the disclosed device and method, the present invention provides an advantage of obtaining an unwrapped phase for a wrapped phase of a magnetic resonance image measured with high accuracy.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
