Provided is a polymer composition for viewing angle compensation films, enabling the production of viewing angle compensation films exhibiting high improving effects in terms of display quality on liquid display devices. To this end, the polymer composition comprises, as optical anisotropic layers, a first optical anisotropic layer (12) and a second optical anisotropic layer (13) which is different from the first optical anisotropic layer (12). In the polymer composition for viewing angle compensation films in an attempt to form a liquid crystal alignment film (14), with regard to the viewing angle compensation film (10) of which the first optical anisotropic layer (12) has the liquid crystal alignment film (14) and a liquid crystal layer (15), polyorgano siloxane is contained in the composition as a polymeric component.
