The present invention relates to a method of producing a heating system on a three-dimensional plastic window such as a three-dimensional vehicle window of a plastic material, comprising an electric heat conductor structure consisting of at least two bus bars (principal heat conductors), and a grid line pattern having a plurality of grid lines (branch heat conductors). The method of producing the heating system on the three-dimensional plastic window such as the three-dimensional vehicle window of the plastic material comprises: a step where the two bus bars are screen-printed onto the three-dimensional plastic window, preferably on an edge portion of the three-dimensional plastic window using at least one displaceable squeegee with screen-printing ink made of a first electrically conductive paste, preferably a first silver paste; a step where the grid line pattern is applied onto the three-dimensional plastic window to overlap the grid line pattern with the two bus bars by at least one second electrically conductive paste, preferably a second silver paste having a greater electrical resistance than the first electrically conductive paste; and a step where the two bus bars and the grid lines overlapping the bus bars overlap positions electrically connected into the electric heat conductor structure by electrical connectors.
