The present invention relates to a method for producing indium phosphide quantum dots and indium phosphide/zinc sulfide-selenium core/shell quantum dots using white phosphorus. More particularly, the present invention relates to a method for producing indium phosphide quantum dots and indium phosphide/zinc sulfide-selenium core/shell quantum dots using white phosphorus, which uses a pyrolysis process using white phosphorus as a phosphorus source to provide indium phosphide quantum dots having various sizes and excellent light emission characteristics. According to the present invention, since white phosphorus is not used in the form of a metal salt, the reaction is stable and is suitable for mass production. In addition, it is possible to control the size of quantum dots with ease by adjusting the type or concentration of a surfactant or adjusting the degassing temperature. Further, it is possible to obtain quantum dots in a colloidal phase to provide a broad spectrum of use and to obtain indium phosphide quantum dots having excellent light emission performance.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
