The present invention relates to an ethylene-propylene rubber based magneto-rheological elastomer having an excellent anti-aging property and magneto-rheological effect, and a method and apparatus for producing a magneto-rheological elastomer. The magneto-rheological elastomer according to the present invention comprises: 100 parts by weight of ethylene-propylene (EPDM) rubber; 30 parts by weight of carbon black (CB); 1-5 parts by weight of each of zinc oxide (ZnO) and stearic acid (SA); and 1.5 parts by weight of each of sulfenamide (CZ) and sulfur (S), and further comprises 30-40 vol% of magnetic reactive particles based on the combined volume of EPDM and CB. In addition, the present invention relates to a method for producing a magneto-rheological elastomer comprising the steps of: injecting a non-cured composition of a magneto-rheological elastomer into a mold of an apparatus for producing a magneto-rheological elastomer and pressurizing the composition; and heating the mold to cure the composition, wherein a magnetic field generated from a magnetic field-imparting means causes alignment of the magnetic reactive particles during or before the curing step, thereby imparting modulus variability. The present invention also relates to an apparatus for producing a magneto-rheological elastomer, which comprises a magnetic field-imparting means, pressurizing means and a heating means integrally in one apparatus so that curing may be carried out while a magnetic filed is imparted at the same time.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
