SMALL CARBONATED BEVERAGE PACKAGING WITH ENHANCED SHELF LIFE PROPERTIES

The present disclosure provides new containers, preforms, methods and designs for small volume, lightweight carbonated beverage packages that still provide improved carbon dioxide retention and longer shelf life while achieving lighter weight. The present disclosure relates in particular to methods and designs for the molding of small volumes (e. G., Less than about 400 ml) of PET containers for carbonated beverages, and for the molding of such containers to achieve exceptional carbon dioxide retention and shelf life.
