Disclosed are a method to acknowledge message receipt confirmation through a notification tool displayed on a mobile terminal, a recording medium storing a program for executing the same, and a mobile terminal to execute the same. According to the present invention, the method is realized through processes of a mobile terminal: generating a notification tool to display message information received through a message program on a screen of the mobile terminal in an inactivated state of the message program installed in the mobile terminal; and receiving a message reception confirmation display request inputted by a user who has confirmed the message information through the notification tool. According to the present invention, without directly executing the message program on the mobile terminal, the user informs a message sender that the reception of the message received through the message program is confirmed by the user and the user can also delete a non-confirmed message mark on the message program without a separate inconvenient operation.
