The present invention relates to a radio frequency (RF) front-end structure for providing a redundancy interface to an S-band transponder. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the RF front-end structure for providing a redundancy interface regarding a first omni antenna, a second omni antenna, and a high gain antenna comprises: a first diplexer, a second diplexer, a third diplexer, a first low noise amplifier, a second low noise amplifier, a third low noise amplifier, a first hybrid coupler, a second hybrid coupler, a third hybrid coupler, a first directional coupler, a second directional coupler and a double pole double throw (DPDP) switch. The first diplexer, the second diplexer, and the third diplexer are connected to the first omni antenna, the second omni antenna and the high gain antenna to selectively transmit an uplink signal and a downlink signal to a specific path. The first low noise amplifier, the second low noise amplifier, and the third low noise amplifier amplify output signals from the first diplexer, the second diplexer and the third diplexer. The first hybrid coupler, the second hybrid coupler, and the third hybrid coupler receive the uplink signal output from the first low noise amplifier, the second low noise amplifier and the third low noise amplifier, output the uplink signal as two branched outputs, and output the downlink signal transmitted from transmitters of a first transponder and a second transponder to the second diplexer and the third diplexer. The first directional coupler and the second directional coupler receive the uplink signal output from the first hybrid coupler and the third hybrid coupler to be provided to a receiver of the first transponder and receive the uplink signal output from the second hybrid coupler and the third hybrid coupler to be provided to a receiver of the second transponder. The DPDT switch switches the downlink signal transmitted from a first transmitter of the first transponder and a second transmitter of the second transponder to be output by two output ports.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
