A RETRACTABLE THRUSTER A SWIMMING VESSEL AND A METHOD FOR RETRACTING AND EJECTING A PROPELLER OF THE RETRACTABLE THRUSTER

The present invention relates to a retractable thruster for a swimming vessel. The retractable thruster includes a propeller and an ascending and descending arrangement body. The ascending and descending arrangement body is formed to move the propeller in a vertical direction between a taking-in position and a taking-out position. At the taking-in position, the propeller is actually positioned inside a bottom well of the swimming vessel. At the taking-out position, the propeller is actually positioned outside of the bottom well. The retractable thruster is formed to be positioned inside the bottom well in an upper side of the propeller and includes a water-permeation preventing element formed to move the propeller in a vertical direction. At the taking-out position, the water-permeation preventing element is actually preventing loosened ice from floating inside the bottom well through the water-permeation preventing element. When the propeller is moved from the taking-in position to the taking-out position, the water-permeation preventing element pushes the ice to the outside of the bottom well.
