Provided by the present invention are: an on-chip implementation method of a wavelength division multiplexing transceiver based on a silicon ring-modulator; and a 100 gigabit optical transceiver using the same. The wavelength division multiplexing optical transceiver according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a transmission unit which multiplexes an optical signal by using MRM; a reception unit which demultiplexes the optical signal multiplexed in the transmission unit by using MRM; an optical channel unit which delivers the optical signal multiplexed in the transmission unit to the reception unit; and an optical I/O unit which delivers an optical signal to the transmission unit. The transmission unit, the reception unit, the optical channel unit, and the optical I/O unit are implemented in on-chip. Thus, the present invention can: remarkably reduce the chip size of the wavelength division multiplexing transceiver; and implement an WDM system inexpensively in comparison with an existing individual component method in respect of the compensation technology of an optical device through a silicon electric circuit having high maturity.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
