The present invention relates to a document classification system using nuclear power system information and a method thereof. The method includes the steps of: extracting a keyword from information about a target document; determining document-to-document similarity between the target document and at least one determination document stored in a database; determining document-to-system similarity between the target document and at least one classification system stored in the database by using the keyword; and determining the document classification of the target document by using the document-to-document similarity and the document-to-system similarity.
