Provided is a method for setting a channel shared by head and member nodes of a cluster group in an ad-hoc cognitive radio network, and a system using the same. The method for setting a shared channel comprises the steps of: converting, by a head node, a system activation signal having a specific pattern into an OFDM symbol (hereinafter referred to as an OFDM symbol of an SA pattern signal), and transmitting, by the head node, the OFDM symbol of the SA pattern signal via a plurality of channels; receiving, by a member node, the OFDM symbol of the SA pattern signal via the channels; performing, by the member node, a fast Fourier transform on the OFDM symbol of the SA pattern signal, and outputting, by the member node, the SA pattern signal; estimating an angle sequence based on the output SA pattern signal, and estimating an angle difference sequence pattern based on the estimated angle sequence; and recognizing a channel, through which the SA pattern signal has been transmitted, by using a degree of matching of an auto-correlation function of the estimated angle difference sequence pattern to an auto-correlation function preset for the member node.
