The present invention relates to an advanced water treatment system using biological filtration and ballasted flocculation sedimentation, which is configured to include: a biological filtration device in which an anaerobic region (denitrification region) and an aerobic region (or excessive phosphorus in-take region or nitrification region) are simultaneously configured to effectively remove total nitrogen (T-N) components; and a treatment facility which is installed in the rear end of the biological filtration device and recycles loaded filters for the purpose of reducing total phosphorus (T-P).
