The present invention relates to a method to select position of a marine substation in a marine wind power generation plant and a method to design a power grid of the marine wind power generation plant. The present invention includes: a step of receiving at least one datum to design a power grid of a marine wind power generation plant producing power from a marine wind power turbine; a step of grouping a plurality of wind power turbines in the marine wind power generation plant; a step of generating at least one initial power grid structure, including internal and external power grids, in accordance with mutual combination orders of the grouped wind power turbines; a step of calculating costs for the internal power grid in accordance with the generated initial power grid structure; a step of selecting a position of a marine substation in the initial power grid structure, corresponding to a minimum cost of the calculated costs for the internal power grid, as a final position of the marine substation; a step of processing the datum for the designing of the power grid of the marine wind power generation plant to generate the datum in a chromosome format; a step of calculating costs for the whole power grid in regard to the generated chromosome; a step of regenerating a chromosome in accordance with the costs for the whole power grid; a step of confirming whether cables in the whole power grid intersect with each other or not; and a step of selecting and designing a structure for the whole power grid, corresponding to a minimum cost of the costs for the whole power grid.
