The present invention relates to a kit for identifying sesame breeds and a method for identifying sesame varieties using a primer set. More particularly, the present invention relates to kits using a set of single-nucleotide polymorphic primers for identification of sesame varieties, which are polymorphic to known varieties of sesame seeds, and a method for identifying them using the same. By using the primer set according to the present invention as a single base polymorphism marker for sesame breed identification, it can greatly contribute to various fields such as identification of authenticity of sesame breeds, identification of origin and selection of a control varietal for varieties protected varieties.
